سلام
من توی فعال کردن کارت گرافیک مشکل دارم.یعنی نصبش کردم ولی نمی دونم چه جوری فعالش کنم.خواهشا کمکم کنید.حالا کل ماجرا رو توضیح میدم:
قبل از نصب Ubuntu 12.04 به سایت http://driverscollection.com/ رفتم و درایور مخصوص کارت گرافیکم رو دانلود کردم که اسم فایل اینه:
NVIDIA-Linux-x86_64-295.53.run
بعد Ubuntu 12.04 x86_64 رو کنار ویندوز سون نصب کردم.
به اوبونتو وارد شدم و Ctrl+Alt+F1 رو زدم.کاربر Root رو فعال کردم و از محیط X رو خاموش کردم(service lightdm stop) بعد با دستور پایین مراحل نصب درایور رو طی کردم:
sh ./NVIDIA-Linux-x86_64-295.53.run
بعد کامپیوتر رو ری استارت کردم و فایل etc/X11/xorg.conf رو باز کردم که محتویاتش این بود:

EndSectionبعد Ctrl+Alt+F1 رو زدم.کاربر Root رو فعال کردم و از محیط X رو خاموش کردم(service lightdm stop) بعدش هم دو دستور پایین رو به ترتیب اجرا کردم:
xorg -configure
cp /root/xorg.conf.new /etc/X11/xorg.conf
بعد از این کار محتویات به اولین کدی که آورده بودم تغییر کرد(این کار رو یه نفر توی technotux گفته بود انجام بده.اگه این کار اشتباهه بگید تا دوباره اوبونو رو نصب کنم.)
با این کار محتویات فایل /etc/X11/xorg.conf این جوری شد:

اما یه برنامه توی دش هوم اومده که واسه NVIDIA ست.

لطفا یه نفر کمکم کنه که کارت گرافیکم رو فعال کنم .من به سه بعدی احتیاج دارم .همین طور به جلوه های گرافیکی

شما چه گیری دادی به اون.اگر کنترلپنل nvidia کارمیکنه یعنی نصبه دیگه اگه می خوای توی details نزنه Unknown باید mesa-utils نصب باشه.

اینی که گفتی باید نصب شه، چیه؟از کجا بگیرمش؟
یعنی الآن سه بعدی فعاله و الآن می تونم جلوه های گرافیکی رو نصب کنم؟
چرا قسمت Additional Drivers خالیه؟
ببخشید اینقدر سوال می کنم آخه تازه کارم

اینکه چیه خودمم نمیودونم ولی فکر کنم glxinfo رو نصب میکنه . برای گرفتنش توی ترمینال:sudo apt-get install mesa-utils
شما مگه چه جلوه گرافیکی می خواستی که درایور های آزاد براش کافی نبودند؟
بعد یه چیز دیگه هرموقع فایل های کانفیگ ویرایش می کردین حتما یک کپی ازش نگه دارین.

گفتم که تازه کارم
دقیقا از جلوه های گرافیکی سر در نمیارم.یه نفر بهم گفت که واسه فعال سازی شون CompizConfig Settings Manager رو نصب کنم و قبلش حتما کارت گرافیک رو نصب کنم.
وقتی دستوری که دادید رو می زنم این میاد:

دیگه همه چی حل شد،بعد از نصب ابزار GLX از حالت unknow در اومد

حل شد به عنوان موضوع اضافه کنید :
فعال سازی کارت گرافیک - حل شد .
