برای بابیلون: گلدن‌دیکت (GoldenDict)
برای جستجوی سریع در فایل‌ها هم لازم نیست چیزی نصب کنی. توی اوبونتو دکمهٔ Super+F رو فشار بده. دکمهٔ Super همون دکمه‌ای هست که در بیشتر صفحه‌کلیدها روش علامت ویندوز کشیده شده.
یافتن برنامه برای تبدیل فایل‌های صوتی تصویری رو هم به عنوان تمرین به خودت واگذار می‌کنم. توی این سایت (https://apps.ubuntu.com) بگرد.

اگه منظورت از ویژوال استودیو محیط برنامه‌نویسیه اکلیپس (برای خانواده‌ی C و جاوا) و QtCreator (برای برنامه‌نویسی در فریم‌ورک کیوت) و البته Quicky (برای برنامه‌نویسی پایتون با رابط کاربری GTK) بهترین جایگزین‌ها هستند
برای تبدیل قالب‌های صوتی و تصویری هم ffmpeg و mencoder هستن، با کلّی رابط‌های گرافیکی متنوّع که براشون نوشته شده مثل WinFF
فرهنگ لغت هم GoldenDict به نظر من بهترینه
و خب خود اوبونتو برات تو پرونده‌ها جست‌وجو می‌کنه. فقط کلید سوپر رو بزن و چیزی رو که می‌خوای تایپ کن

یک سوال دیگه
من اوبونتو رو پاک کردم تا دو باره نصبش کنم
اما وقتی فایل wubi.exe رو اجرا میکنم بعد از پرسیدن زبان و درایو و نام و پسورد یکم که نصب میشه بعد این ارور رو میده

نصب با ووبی به هیچ هنوان توصیه نمی‌شه. با دیسک زنده بالا بیا و اوبونتو رو در کنار ویندزد نصب کن

دستورات locate و find هست. البته شنیدم find سریعتره. دقیق نمیدونم.

برای غیر از اوبونتو نرم افزاری که همون کار جستجوی سریع رو انجام بده چی هست؟

در آخرین نسخهٔ گنوم (GNOME 3.6) قراره مدیر پرونده‌ها (Nautilus) بتونه جستجو هم بکنه. البته همیشه می‌تونست، ولی قراره خیلی خیلی بهتر بشه. این‌جا (http://library.gnome.org/misc/release-notes/3.6/users-files.html.en) درباره‌ش توضیح کامل داده.

جز این، برنامه‌های مستقلی هم هستند مانند Tracker (http://projects.gnome.org/tracker/)، که البته فکر نکنم از این به بعد توسعه داده بشند و قراره توی خود GNOME یک‌پارچه بشند. ولی کار می‌کنند.

چرا گلدن دیکت کلمات رو به فارسی ترجمه نمیکنه یا بلعکس فقط صفحه ای مثل ویکی پدیا به انگلیسی نشون میده :'(

گلدن‌دیکت فقط برنامهٔ دیکشنری رو بهت می‌ده. با این برنامه می‌تونی هر دادهٔ دیکشنری‌ای رو که بخوای بهش بشناسونی تا معنی واژه‌ها رو از اون داده‌ها بهت نشون بده (مثلاً دیکشنری انگلیسی-به-انگلیسی لانگمن، فرهنگ‌های فارسی، هرچی). توی تنظیماتش بخشی برای مدیریت دیکشنری‌ها هست.

خود دیکشنری‌ها رو هم دقیق نمی‌دونم از کجا باید باربگیری. همین جا بچه‌ها میان و می‌گن.

فایلهای دیکشنری های بابیلون رو از نت دانلود کن و بزار توی یه فولدر. بعد از قسمت دیکشنری های goldenDict اون فولدر رو بهش بشناسون.

والا نمیدونم منظورتون از قدرت چیه! ولی من خیلی وقته که دارم با سیناپس کار میکنم و ازش راضیم!
