با سلام به دوستان
من تازه کار با لینوکس را آغاز کرده ام وتازه Ubuntu 12.10 را نصب کرده ام. حالا وقتی Software Updater را می زنم پیغام خطای زیر را می دهد:
Failed To Download Repository Information
Check your internet connection
در یکی از تاپیکهای همین انجمن یکی دیگر از دوستان همین مشکل را داشت و دوستی به او گفته بود در ترمینال sudo gedit /etc/apt/sources.list را وارد کن و سپس مخازن گوگل را حذف کن که ظاهرا مشکل دوستمون حل شده بود. اما من این فایل را باز کردم و چیزی به اسم گوگل ندیدم که حذف کنم.
محتویات این فایل در سیستم من به صورت زیر است:

ممنون میشم اگر دوستان راهنمایی کنند. البته این را هم بگم که من در شرکتمان از طریق تنظیمات پروکسی به شبکه و اینترنت متصل می شویم. البته تصور می کنم که این تنظیمات را درست وارد کرده ام چون با FireFox بدون مشکل به اینترنت وصل می شوم. ممنون

شما چون دارید از بروکسی استفاده می‌کنید، باید کاری کنید که تمام اتصال‌های سیستمتون به اینترنت از پشت بروکسی رد بشه و نه مرورگر وب.
برای این‌کار باید به آدرس زیر برید و تنظیمش کنید:
System Settings > network

شما چون دارید از بروکسی استفاده می‌کنید، باید کاری کنید که تمام اتصال‌های سیستمتون به اینترنت از پشت بروکسی رد بشه و نه مرورگر وب.
برای این‌کار باید به آدرس زیر برید و تنظیمش کنید:
System Settings > network
ممنون از راهنمایی شما. اما این کار را انجام داده ام و باز هم همان مشکل باقی است!

همین پیغام خطا را هم به هنگام استفاده از Ubuntu Software Center میده. اما همانطور که گفتم فایرفاکس بدون مشکل به اینترنت وصل میشه.
در هنگام اجرای software-updater وقتی پیغام خطای بالا رو میده در قسمت Detail یکی از خطاهاش اینه:
W:Failed to fetch http://extras.ubuntu.com/ubuntu/dists/quantal/main/source/Sources 407 Unauthorized
یعنی در انتهای همه آنها عبارت 407 Unauthorized وجود دارد!

این مشکل حل شد. مشکل همان تنظیمات پروکسی بود. توضیح اینکه هر چند تنظیمات پروکسی را در قسمت System Settings-->Network وارد کرده ایم اما این تنظیمات برای نرم افزارهای Software Updater و ubuntu Software Center اعمال نمی شود. برای حل این مشکل باید در ترمینال دستور زیر را وارد کرد:
sudo gedit /etc/apt/apt.conf
حال در فایل باز شده تنظیمات پروکسی را به صورت زیر وارد می کنیم:
Acquire::http::proxy "http://UN:Pass@Proxy:Port/";
Acquire::https::proxy "https://UN:Pass@Proxy:Port/";
Acquire::ftp::proxy "ftp://UN:Pass@Proxy:Port/";
Acquire::socks::proxy "socks://UN:Pass@Proxy:Port/";
