با سلام و خسته نباشید
عید همگی مبارک
من نتونستم مودمم رو نصب کنم یعنی پکیجش رو از توی وستا گرفتم و از توی اوبونتو روی اون کلیک کردم و شروع به نصب کرد و در اخر نوشت که نصب شده (instaled) و وقتی دوباره روش کلیک میکردم یه کادر شبیه کادر اولی باز میشد فقط با این تفاوت که به جای کلمه install کلمه reinstall رو نمایش میداد.
اما من نتونستم از طریق کانکشن گرافیکی وارد اینترنت بشم چون توی منوی ادمین استریشن گزینه نتورک نداشت اما به جاش نتورک تولز داشت که هیچ ربطی و شباهتی به اونی که توی تاپیک اموزش ساخت کانکشن بود رو نداشت.
اوبنتوی من نسخه 8.10 هست

درایور مودم رو باید از طریق ترمینال و با دستور زیر نصب کنید:
sudo dpkg -i hsfmodem_*.deb
و نهایتا این دستور:
sudo hsfconfig

در مورد نصب مودم بارها در انجمن بحث شده و تاپیک های خیلی زیادی در این مورد داریم. در ویکی هم راهنمای نصب مودم های Dialup (http://wiki.ubuntu-ir.org/DialupModemHowto) موجود هست !

مودم من intel 537ep هست و همین طور که گفتم فایل intel537ep-intrepid_2-Philippe.Vouters_i386.deb v رو گرفتم الان نصبه.
ببخشید اگه میشه یکم بیشتر توضیح بدید در مورد این قسمت (اول باید در ترمینال به محل فایل مورد نظر برید. فایل رو در دسکتاپ کپی کنید)

۱- به جای * باید نسخه ی هسته ی سیستم عامل را وارد کنید.
۲- مودم شما اصلا HSF نیست بلکه Intel است!
در واقع دستوری که باید وارد کنید این است:

۱- نمی دونم دستور جایگزین داره یا نه. چون مودم من اینتل نیست. البته به احتمال زیاد نداره چون تو ویکی چیزی نگفته. برای این که ببینید مودم نصب شده یا نه خروجی این دستور رو ببینید.
wvdialconf2- این گزینه ارتباطی با درایور مودم نداره. اگه وجود نداره این دستور رو اجرا کنید.
sudo apt-get install gnome-network-adminو ببین که با زدن این دستور
network-adminچیزی باز می شه یا این که توی منو گزینه ی Network اضافه می شه یا نه.
برای این کار باید اینترنت داشته باشید. پس بهتره که فعلا از طریق wvdial اقدام کنید با این که از یک کامپیوتر اینترنت دار این بسته رو دانلود کنید.

من فایل success.txt رو هم خوندم و سعی کردم طبق اون یه modem monitor رو به پنل add کنم اما نتونستم active ش کنم و به peroperties برم برای تنظیمات و من دیگه اون فیل رو بستم
اگه لازم شد بگید تا اون رو هم بزارم اینجا.

مودمتون چیه؟ موتورولا نیست؟ فایل ModemData.txt رو که ScanModem ایجاد کرده بذارید.

Support for the 14f1:2f50 and 14f1:2215 HSF modems is projected early in 2007 from Linuxant.
Start at http://www.linuxant.com/drivers/hsf/downloads-license.php to find the
hsfmodem package matching your System. For several Linux distros, there are
precompiled drivers matched to specific kernels. These have within the FileName,

Support can likely be achieved through two mutually exclusive alternatives:

Completed candidate modem analyses.
The base of the UDEV device file system is: /dev/.udev
Versions adequately match for the compiler installed: 4.3.2

The patch utility is needed and is needed for compiling ALSA drivers, and possibly others.

Compiling hsfmodem drivers does require linux-libc-dev and libc6-dev packages, for kernels 2.6.24 and later versions.
In not included on your install CD, search for them at http://packages.ubuntu.com
or comparable Repository for other Linux distros.
When compiling ALSA drivers, the utility "patch" will also be needed.
If a driver compilation fails, with message including some lack of some FileName.h (stdio.h for example), then
Some additional kernel-header files need installation to /usr/include. The minimal additional packages are libc6-dev
and any of its dependents, under Ubuntu linux-libc-dev
If an alternate ethernet connection is available,

will install needed packages.

تو فایل ModemData شما همچین چیزی نوشته شده بود(البته مودم شما کانکسانت نیست ولی امتحانش ضرر نداره)
این درایور رو دانلود کنید.

تبریک می گم! مثل این که مودمتون نصب شده! محتویات فایل wvdial.conf و خروجی wvdialconf رو این جا بذارید!(مشکلتون احتمالا اینه که ; رو از اول خط های یوزرنیم و پسوورد و شماره تلفن بر نداشتید)

رفتم و ; رو از اول اونا برداشتم و wvdial رو زدم مودم یه صدایی داد
اما کانکت نشد و همین طور try agian میداد
شماره isp رو هم عوض کردم بازم نشد و با pppconfig هم سعی کردم کانکت شم اما بازم نشد.

این خط رو به آخر فایل اضافه کنید.
Stupid Mode = yesبعد دوباره wvdialconf رو اجرا کنید(البته با sudo تا بتونه فایل wvdial.conf رو عوض کنه)
sudo wvdialconfبعد با wvdial وصل شید.
sudo wvdialاگه نشد خروجی sudo wvdial و محتویات فایل wvdial.conf رو بذارید.

راستی من در حالت گرافیکی توی منوی administration گزینه network رو ندارم.
چطور اونو باید دید؟؟؟
البته از توی edit menu هم نبود که من تیک دارش کنم

ببینید چرا می گه مودم مشغوله. ببینید قبلش چی کار می کنید. مودم نصب شده چون دفعه ی اول خروجی wvdialconf درست بود. (بهتره دوباره hsfconfig رو اجرا کنید)

الان دیگه مثل دفعه قیل نیست درست شده
یعنی نمیگه مودم مشغوله
یه بار که sudo wvdial رو میزنم شروع میکنه به شماره گیری بعضی وقتها وقتی پنجره ترمینال رو میبندم مودم یه صدایی میده (مثل توی ویندوز ) و قطع میشه
به نظر میرسه که دیگه الان میخواد کانکت بشه اما هر چی صبرمیکنم این شماره گیری همین طور ادامه داره
همه چیز به نظر عادی هست و درست به نظر میرسه اما کانکت نمیشم
