سلام
می خواستم بدونم آیا میشه مودم Conexant d400 usb رو در لپ تاپ Dell Vostro 1510 نصب کرد؟ لطفا راهنماییم کنید

اینو نصب کنید
http://www.linuxant.com/drivers/hsf/full/archive/hsfmodem-7.80.02.03full/hsfmodem_7.80.02.03full_k2.6.27_7_generic_ubuntu_i386.deb.zip
و بعد این دستور رو اجرا کنید.
sudo hsfconfigو برای این که ببینید مودم نصب شده یا نه خروجی این دستور رو ببینید.

ویرچوالباکس همین الان نسخه جدیدش اومد که usb رو هم ساپورت می کنه! خوب شما این برنامه رو نصب کن. و بعد برو ویندوز رو بریز(اکس‌پی) . وبعد درایور مودمت رو از تو ویندوز نصب کن:)) چون مودمتون رو من دیدم یو اس بیه با این روش خیلی راحت با سرعت بالا نصب میشید و خیلی راحت می‌تونید اون رو تو لینوکس هم شیر کنید ;) من قبلا برای استفاده از پرینترم که usb داره از برنامه vmware استفاده می کردم که خوب با اومدن نسخه جدید ویرچال باکس می‌یام سراغ این ;D

فکر کنم بهتره که با scanModem نوع مودم رو تشخیص بدیم.
این برنامه رو اجرا کنید:
http://linmodems.technion.ac.il/packages/scanModem.gzروش استفاده:
gunzip -c scanModem.gz > scanModem
chmod +x scanModem
sudo ./scanModem
gedit Modem/ModemData.txt
و بعد محتویات فایلی که باز می شه رو بذارید این جا.

اینو باید نصب کنید:
http://www.linuxant.com/drivers/dgc/archive/dgcmodem-1.09/dgcmodem_1.09_k2.6.27_7_generic_ubuntu_i386.deb.zip
بعد از نصب کردن این دستور رو اجرا کنید:
sudo dgcconfig
و بعد ببینید که مودم نصب شده یا نه.

اگه میشه یکی به من یاد بده باید چیکار کنم منم modem usb dell modell rd02- d400 دارم ولی هرکار میکنم وصل نمیشه
