مشکل نصب مودم intel 536ep در دبیان

سلام
از آن جا که برای نصب بیشتر نرم افزارها در اوبونتو باید حتما به اینترنت وصل بشیم من هم از دبیان استفاده می کنم که مادر و پایه اوبونتو هست اما قبلا که در اوبونتو کار میکردم تونستم با  dial up modem intel 536ep به اینترنت وصل بشم متاسفانه از همین مودم نمیتونم در دبیان استفاده کنم چون هنوز درایور آن را پیدا نکرده ام برخی می گویند همان درایور اوبونتو باید برای دبیان کارساز باشد اما تا آن جا که من کار کردم این طور نبود شاید هم روش نصب درست نبوده خلاصه این که اگر یک نفر یک راهنمای نصب جامع و یک درایور برای این مودم و سیستم عامل سراغ داره اینجا هم بگذاره خیلی ممنون میشم. البته نمی دانم این مودم از نوع hcf یا hsf هست یا نه اما سعی کردم این دو درایور را هم نصب کنم که بار هم درست نشد من سعی کردم یک گزارش از نصب تهیه کنم که در زیر آورده ام
بدیهی است موقع نصب من DVD Debian lenny 5.0.6 را در DVD ROM گذاشته بودم اما جواب این بود که باید بسته
'kernel-headers-2.6.26-2-686' package را نصب کنید حال اگر در DVD debian  جستجو کنید چنین بسته ای نیست اما بسته مشابه 'linux-headers- 2.6.26-2-686' package هست که در صورت نصب مشکل را حل نمی کند
همانطور که از نوشته های زیرمشخص هست نسخه که سعی در نصب آن کردم  hsfmodem-7.80.02.04full و نسخه ای که در اوبونتو استفاده کرده ام intel536ep-lucid_1-Philippe.Vouters_i386.deb می باشد.
 خواهش می کنم مرا راهنمایی کنید
I cant connect to internet because my modem is dial up i coudn't find driver for installing it.

i went to shell and typed below commands according to file INSTALL(guidence install) :

240 cd hsfmodem-7.80.02.04full
241 make install
and too command hsfconfig:
