آپدیت گنوم شل.

سلام.
من از اوبونتو ۱۲.۰۴ استفاده می کنم و میخوام گنوم شل رو آپدیت کنم، ورژن کنونی ۳.۵.۴ هست.
کد: [انتخاب]
sudo add-apt-repository ppa:gnome3-team/gnome3 و
کد: [انتخاب]
sudo apt-get update
رو که میزنم نسخه اش همچنان ۳.۵.۴ باقی می مونه.
کد: [انتخاب]
sudo apt-get install gnome-shellهم میگه که آخرین نسخه گنوم شل رو داری و آپدیتی وجود نداره.
چجوری باید آپدیت بشه؟

تا اون جایی که من می دونم بالاتر از نسخه کنونی هم وجود داره. اسم دقیقش رو نمی دونم ولی ظاهر آخرین نسخه اینه:


Repository گنوم 3 رو اضافه کردم اما بازم  ظاهر گنوم شل من این طور نیست.
یعنی این نسخه از گنوم شل روی 12.04 نصب نمی شه؟

دوست عزیز فکر کنم شما منظور منو بد متوجه شدید من نگفتم که گنوم ورژن جدید تری نداره(من خودم از 3.12.2 استفاده میکنم) منظورم این بود که شاید 12.04 امکان نصب گنوم ورژن بالاتر از3.5.4 رو نداشته باشه همین.
لینکی که Overlord دادن فکر کنم کامل مشکلتونو حل میکنه.

به این یکی مخزن هم نیازه:

نشد دیگه با این محزن تست کن:
sudo add-apt-repository ppa:gnome3-team/gnome3-staging

به این یکی مخزن هم نیازه:

نشد دیگه با این محزن تست کن:
sudo add-apt-repository ppa:gnome3-team/gnome3-staging
با هیچکدومشون ارتقا نیافت. همچنان همون ۳.۵.۴ هست.

فکر کنم مشکل از لانچپده چون تو جواب دستور اپدیت لانچپد ارور 404 داده منم باهاش مشکل داشتمو اپدیت سیستم هنگ میکرد لانچپدو حذف کردم فعلا رفتار اپدیت طبیعیه ولی خوب من بهش مشکوکم.
کسی نمیدونه چرا لانچپد ارور 404 رو داده؟

علت خطای 404 این هست که در http://ppa.launchpad.net/gnome3-team/gnome3-staging/ubuntu/dists این Directory ها موجود هست:
quantal
raring
saucy
trusty
utopic
و نه این Directory:
precise
فعلا برای Ubuntu 12.04 LTS و پایین تر چیزی تو PPA نذاشتن...
